Bought this lamp for our hallway where we don't have a socket, the lamp is very well made and shade is of very good good quality, charged it on the 30th of August and we have it on about 2 1/2 hours a night and as to date it's going strong, you also need a charging pad as well and also would recommend the remote control for more flexible lighting, so not cheap but well worth the money.
