Helpful Tips
Always use your lamp until it is dead before recharging again!
The rechargeable batteries we use in our lamps like to be exercised! To explain you should always use the lamp until it is completely dead then fully charge it up. If you do not follow this process the batteries will develop a “memory” and will never fully charge to maximum capacity again.
How to extended the lighting duration?
The lamps have a brightness setting - if you select one of the lower settings it will significantly extend the light duration of your lamps as there is less power being used by the LEDs.
How can I retain battery life in my lamps when not in use?
Simply turn your lamp off using the manual on/off button the base of the lamp. This will turn off the lamp and its receivers. If you fully charge before turning off you will notice the lamp battery will still have charge even after 3 months of not being used!
What is the best way to store my lamps for an extended period of time when its not in use?
We recommend recharging the lamps every 2 months and leaving for no more than 3 months without charging. Store the lamp in a dry and cool place preferably no higher than 25c, elevated temperature will increase permanent battery discharge rate.
This prevents the battery from dropping below 2.50V per cell, triggering sleep mode. Li-ion will no longer be recoverable if kept below 2.00V per cell for more than a week.
Keep your lamps and charging pads clean!
By keeping the lamp base and charging pad surface clean it will avoid any static charging issues occuring.
